Families Photos From Around The World

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">A family from Tokyo, settled on the sidewalk around their television, crowded by neatly organized electronic appliances, expelled closets, and prized heirloom pottery. Chinese UFO

<div style="text-align: justify;">Chinese farmer Shu Mansheng's life-sized flying saucer wheel is only the latest and greatest from the People's Republic.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Guys like Mansheng don't build their own flying machines because they're looking to make a quick buck  they do it because they're passionate about this stuff. Mansheng's flying machine is powered by eight motorcycle motors with propellers. Aerodynamics? Mansheng doesn't need that. All he needs is ambition to build.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div><div style="text-align: justify;">And that's what the Chinese farmer has. The 18-foot diameter machine that's worth about USD 3,135 in parts is Mansheng's fifth prototype and can hover 3.3-feet in the air for about 10 seconds with him in it. No remote controls here, my friends. Da Vinci would be proud.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div><div style="text-align: justify;">More of a proof-of-concept, Mansheng's hovering drone is just another reminder of how hard work and perseverance can lead to results.</div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipJElBPWEjphYKnY1E3sqJCf5t_zmIsGdmXa8ZqoNGOyfPFhApHHgqqXYfvIuWgtizSEGIcRZAgZnFy3ln8m5QY1BtTeiMFfUOHhUNbgdtXYWyIDeQi2TwGkl1-PIpbe57UtUEfljk_sI/s1600/China+UFO+03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="436" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipJElBPWEjphYKnY1E3sqJCf5t_zmIsGdmXa8ZqoNGOyfPFhApHHgqqXYfvIuWgtizSEGIcRZAgZnFy3ln8m5QY1BtTeiMFfUOHhUNbgdtXYWyIDeQi2TwGkl1-PIpbe57UtUEfljk_sI/s640/China+UFO+03.jpg" width="640"></a></div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgM4P5Y_NyR4-aeSJDf_ThlECM-5w_GbKsg9x6BbuY7SUFOiBLytuTl67gQHtAcVLjYFXVXK5-b8EiCAxO8dMxiNznRLuhNOELJpooINA4vzAzIDnfBsncbNlscAy7lCGwcfO4_jLXVhwQ/s1600/China+UFO+05.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="418" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgM4P5Y_NyR4-aeSJDf_ThlECM-5w_GbKsg9x6BbuY7SUFOiBLytuTl67gQHtAcVLjYFXVXK5-b8EiCAxO8dMxiNznRLuhNOELJpooINA4vzAzIDnfBsncbNlscAy7lCGwcfO4_jLXVhwQ/s640/China+UFO+05.jpg" width="640"></a></div><br><a href="http://aibob.blogspot.com/2011/09/chinese-ufo.html#more">Click to read more »</a>

The Most Packed Swimming Pool In The World

<div style="text-align: justify;">These photos illustrate what can happen in a water park in a country with over a billion people. There's strictly no diving and not a hope of doing any lengths, but the crowded conditions have not put off over a million people from heading to this giant Chinese swimming pool. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The saltwater pool, known as China's 'Dead Sea' is located in Daying county, Sichuan province, and was a riot of colour as the masses grabbed their rubber rings and descended upon it yesterday. The indoor water park is said to be the largest in China and covers 30,000 square meters. </div><br><div style="text-align: justify;">Due to its salinity of over 22 per cent, swimmers float freely on the surface much as they do in the Dead Sea in the Middle East. If you don't fancy a dip, the resort also offers a Spa centre, a golf course and even on-site cheerleaders.</div><br><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3dG1ivX7a4rWK1Z41UlplC3QBLc2KjEHvY2iAJ_cdQqmbBWCHON67Mr9VzrOIyoDfQ45n2rKCVjcN1COcp-KAgJ2uIm33lfnZvIUevyucHVnQHWfamxOCh0MmXlyPnJxQxicAjrnPAATR/s1600/article-2026178-0D6DEB3D00000578-616_634x417.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="420" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3dG1ivX7a4rWK1Z41UlplC3QBLc2KjEHvY2iAJ_cdQqmbBWCHON67Mr9VzrOIyoDfQ45n2rKCVjcN1COcp-KAgJ2uIm33lfnZvIUevyucHVnQHWfamxOCh0MmXlyPnJxQxicAjrnPAATR/s640/article-2026178-0D6DEB3D00000578-616_634x417.jpg" width="640"></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><i>Tight squeeze: Swimmers crowd into China's 'Dead Sea' indoor swimming pool in Daying county, Sichuan Province</i></td></tr></tbody></table><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEih8wXQVSS7pQEA-006gpmJSGX1tS4IfbxMdSKkrQ2-44P547d7moOA42GWIo7R3CUaEr_Mcyhq6PmZYe9piUjYECwuZrmlEUYq0s-epmKwF6ZEKaCB-Khq_ZeRUe_PDMtk6Cw6AMrZZdAL/s1600/article-2026178-0D6DEB6F00000578-589_634x421.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEih8wXQVSS7pQEA-006gpmJSGX1tS4IfbxMdSKkrQ2-44P547d7moOA42GWIo7R3CUaEr_Mcyhq6PmZYe9piUjYECwuZrmlEUYq0s-epmKwF6ZEKaCB-Khq_ZeRUe_PDMtk6Cw6AMrZZdAL/s640/article-2026178-0D6DEB6F00000578-589_634x421.jpg" width="640"></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><i>Anyone seen my goggles? Photos Of Captured Boxer Rebellion

<div style="text-align: justify;">The Boxer Rebellion, also called The Boxer Uprising by some historians or the Righteous Harmony Society Movement in northern China, was a proto-nationalist movement by the <i>Righteous Harmony Society</i> or <i>Righteous Fists of Harmony</i> or <i>Society of Righteous and Harmonious Fists, </i>known as <i>Boxers</i> in English, in China between 1898 and 1901, opposing foreign imperialism and Christianity. The uprising took place in response to foreign spheres of influence in China, with grievances ranging from opium traders, political invasion, economic manipulation, to missionary evangelism. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br></div><div style="text-align: justify;">In China, popular sentiment remained resistant to foreign influences, and anger rose over the unequal treaties, which the weak Qing state could not resist. There existed growing concerns that missionaries and Chinese Christians could use this decline to their advantage, appropriating lands and property of unwilling Chinese peasants to give to the church. This sentiment resulted in violent revolts against foreign interests.</div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSiEqJkgSO0RhFTjnrxXuyE2iyMlLmeo9mabifvQfVx0C-wPZIi0lY_Md4TYFYtPUkdPvD47sfoGYJjO_kvaTHVji_AsTeisWwFnGqQboH3409N0RJ8jJMmd3Gtx41ujJRuGN2jIGZtZ4/s1600/Rare-Photos-of-Captured-Boxer-Prisoners-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSiEqJkgSO0RhFTjnrxXuyE2iyMlLmeo9mabifvQfVx0C-wPZIi0lY_Md4TYFYtPUkdPvD47sfoGYJjO_kvaTHVji_AsTeisWwFnGqQboH3409N0RJ8jJMmd3Gtx41ujJRuGN2jIGZtZ4/s640/Rare-Photos-of-Captured-Boxer-Prisoners-1.jpg" width="640"></a></div><br><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIRgyrYr2D4JIMwmXSCTBhOMeW7Mjt4bg7qgKI7wTUj3ESs0YGTH8OVZ2Ehxy1XBMUdSxh-RS2vj8csiAHDVJM7Covskmnb24JycqEmERKruJQ23Ee5TQZjLsMexBvD5ettKYEZy01eiM/s1600/Rare-Photos-of-Captured-Boxer-Prisoners-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIRgyrYr2D4JIMwmXSCTBhOMeW7Mjt4bg7qgKI7wTUj3ESs0YGTH8OVZ2Ehxy1XBMUdSxh-RS2vj8csiAHDVJM7Covskmnb24JycqEmERKruJQ23Ee5TQZjLsMexBvD5ettKYEZy01eiM/s640/Rare-Photos-of-Captured-Boxer-Prisoners-2.jpg" width="640"></a></div><br><a href="http://aibob.blogspot.com/2011/08/photos-of-captured-boxer-rebellion.html#more">Click to read more »</a>
