Nice to have? Of course yes. Functionality? Maybe. But the design is very striking and very contemporary. Origami kitchen island by Karim Rashid. Very nice design though.
This kitchen cabinet is manufactured by Egyptian producer Amr Helmy Designs, a company that specializes in innovative projects with DuPont Corian high-tech surface. The island is complemented by a large wall cabinet with cupboard space, drawers and kitchen appliances. The cabinet door paneling and drawers are decorated with a three-dimensional retro-pop pattern which is repeated inside the entire façade.
