Fancy about your Centralized Control Room (CCR) at your factory or power plant? This is images of Master Control Room Of Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant. Located about 200 km north west of Moscow, in Tver Oblast near the town of Udomlya. Owner and operator of the plant is the state enterprise Rosenergoatom.

Kalinin Nuclear Power Station supplies the majority of electricity in the Tver region and additionally serves Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Vladimir. In 2005 the nuclear power station fed 17.3 TWh into the grid. The station's four 150 metres tall cooling towers are local landmarks. They were manufactured in 96 concrete sections each.

By March 2009 the containment structure of the new Kalinin Unit 4 reactor was nearly complete and become operational in 2011.

It is one one of those few places where you are forbidden to enter if you wear a helmet because it may simply fall from his head if he bows and accidentally switch on/off a circuit. Besides, it’s forbidden to cross yellow limiting lines if you don’t have a permission of the head of the unit control room.

Not sure how many operator will be inside this Master Control Room at one time but based on my experience, it would take 4-5 operator at one time.
