Move over Danica, there's a new, hotter racer in town and her name is Maryeve. Maryeve Dufault (born 16 February, 1982) is a Canadian model and race car driver from Sorel, Quebec. She appeared as a model on the American game show The Price is Right. She also has raced in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series and Nationwide Series.
She's been driving motorcycles and cars for some time now, but caught national attention when she won a Hawaiian Tropics modelling contest. Since then, she's been tearing up the tracks and hearts behind the wheel of NASCAR.
Dufault began racing as a youth and has raced snowmobiles, motocross, go-karts and Open wheel car. Along the way she did stunt driving for the movie Fast Girl. She began racing the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series in 2010 by racing in two events. She signed as a driver development contract with the FAZZT Race Team in 2010. By August she had made twelve starts in ARCA with one Top 10. It was a tenth place finish at Chicagoland Speedway. She made her NASCAR Nationwide Series debut at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on August 20, 2011.
Since her team was in the Top 30 in season points, she was guaranteed a starting position. She was the first Canadian woman to race in the NASCAR Nationwide Series since it took that name.
